Program notes:
"For All" was commissioned by Festival Nuova Consonanza on the occasion of the opening concert of the 2024 edition, for a project on the 17 lines for sustainable development indicated by the UN with the name Agenda 2030.
The piece explores the idea of deprivation through the articulation of the sound gesture; the four instruments, in their apparent timbric divergence, interact by blending together and moving away along a dramaturgical path that alternates moments of fusion and detachment. Through a cyclical movement that sees the sound symbolically “filled” and “emptied”, almost as if to recall the recursiveness of breathing – a yearning for life – the listener is invited to reflect on privilege and its extreme, specular opposite: “for all” is the appeal to a fair and just reality, accessible to all human beings with equal rights and opportunities.
