« […] an inviolable and almost incomprehensible thing that makes me feel as if time were solid and enclosed, and could be stopped and contemplated... »
Geneva, June 2022
"Solid, enclosed" focuses on singularity: is it possible to compress time and stop it? In this seconc version of the work, the "temporal mass" is here represented by the dialog between violin and cello, which are pressed in timbre and gestures almost as if to express a crushed suffering – rebellious in the desire to free themselves.
